Box10 is a block puzzle game (fill rows and columns on a 10×10 board; Classic, Bomb 10, 10 Trays and a two-player mode on one device), for all ages, made by PATCELL SOFTWARE COMPANY LIMITED (“Patcell”). This policy describes what the game does with information. It applies to Box10 only; other Patcell apps have their own policies.
Summary
You play Box10 without any account; your game progress is kept on your device. If you choose, you can back up your best scores and badges with Game Center. Patcell does not sell personal information and does not use analytics or tracking of its own. The game shows ads through Google AdMob; those ads are non-personalized and limited to content suitable for all ages, as described below. An optional one-time purchase, Remove Ads, turns off full-screen ads and makes the rewarded extras free.
Data on your device
To work, the game saves on your device: best scores (Classic, Bomb 10, 10 Trays), the totals behind the badges (lines cleared, one-colour lines, missions, bombs defused, finished 10-tray games) and the badges earned, play statistics (runs played, two-player games, total score, play time), settings (sound effects, music, haptics, reduce motion, language, large-screen layout), whether you completed the tutorial, and an unfinished run (saved after every move and when the app goes to the background). Two-player games use no names or accounts. This information stays on your device; Patcell cannot access it.
Settings → Clear data on this device deletes all of it. Uninstalling the game also removes it. Your device's own backup service may keep or restore app data according to your Apple backup settings.
Optional Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, the game submits your best scores (Classic, Bomb 10, 10 Trays) to the Box10 leaderboards and reports the badges you earn as Game Center achievements, and reads your best scores back to restore them on another device. Apple shows those scores and achievements with your player name according to your Game Center privacy settings. Apple provides Game Center under its own terms and privacy policy; Patcell's servers do not receive this data. Box10 has no email account and no Patcell server.
Advertising and privacy choices
The game uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). A full-screen ad may appear between runs, never during play: none in your first 3 finished runs, then at most once every 2 runs and at least 3 minutes after the previous full-screen ad. You can choose to watch a rewarded ad for two rescue bombs when a Classic or Bomb 10 run ends, or for one extra Undo, each at most once per run; this is always optional. If no ad is available, the game continues normally. Development and test builds use Google's sample ads.
Every ad request asks for non-personalized ads, is tagged for child-directed treatment and for users under the age of consent, and is limited to a General (G) content rating. The game does not ask for Apple's tracking permission and does not use the IDFA. Google's SDK may still process network information such as IP address (and approximate location derived from it), app and device information, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic data to deliver and measure ads, maintain the service and prevent fraud. Where Google's consent service requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), a consent message appears and Settings shows Privacy choices so you can change your choice at any time. Promotions for other Patcell games
Some of the ad breaks described above may show another game made by Patcell instead of a Google ad (labelled “Ad · From Patcell”, never more than once a day), and Settings may have a “More games” list. Only Patcell games rated for all ages are shown. The game does not check which apps are installed; a player can tap “I already have this game” to stop seeing a game. Remove Ads turns these full-screen promotions off too. Tapping the store button opens that game's App Store page inside the game, with a campaign tag that names the promotion and contains no personal data.
Updated promotion list. The list of Patcell games and apps that can be promoted, with their pictures and short texts, may be refreshed from patcell.com (about once a day, without a new app version). This is a plain download of a public file signed by Patcell: no account, identifier or personal data is sent. Like any web request, the website host (Cloudflare) receives the device’s IP address to deliver the file; Patcell does not use it to identify anyone. The game also checks, on the device only, which of these games and apps are sold in your App Store country so it does not show one you cannot download; this is not sent anywhere. Without a connection the game keeps using the list it already has.
In-app purchase: Remove Ads
Box10 offers one optional, one-time purchase, Remove Ads (USD 0.99 price tier; the local price is shown by the App Store). Remove Ads turns off full-screen ads and makes the rescue bombs and the extra Undo free. The payment is processed by the App Store (Apple); Patcell never receives your payment details. The app uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) to verify and restore the purchase. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID generated by its SDK, the purchase history and receipt for this app, and basic device and app information. This information is used only for app functionality, to unlock and restore Remove Ads; it is not used for tracking or advertising. You can restore the purchase in Settings → Purchases → Restore purchases, using the same Apple ID. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Permissions and children
The game does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or location, and it does not ask for a name. Gameplay never asks for age. Before Game Center sign-in is offered, the game asks a neutral year-of-birth question; Game Center is offered only to players aged 13 or over. Only the yes/no result is kept on the device: the year of birth is not stored or sent anywhere. Under 13, Game Center is not started and best scores stay on the device.
Future versions
If a later version changes how data is processed (for example a new purchase or online feature), we will update this page, the date above and the App Store privacy disclosures before that version is released.
