ShotCam is a photo editor and collage maker for iPhone and iPad, made by PATCELL SOFTWARE COMPANY LIMITED (“Patcell”). This policy describes what the app does with information. It applies to ShotCam only; other Patcell apps and games have their own policies.
Summary
ShotCam has no account and no sign-in, and it never asks for your name or age. Your photos are edited on your device and are never uploaded to Patcell or anyone else. Patcell does not run a server for the app, does not use analytics or tracking of its own and does not sell personal information. The app shows Google AdMob ads, as described below. Optional purchases (ShotCam Pro and Remove Ads) are processed by Apple.
Your photos
You choose photos with Apple's photo picker, so ShotCam receives only the photos you select; it does not get access to the rest of your library. You can also take a photo with the camera (iOS asks for camera permission first). When you save, ShotCam asks for permission to add photos to your library; it cannot read or change your other photos.
All editing happens on your device, including the features that use Apple's on-device Vision framework: Cut me out, Blur background, Hide faces and text, Fix it and Straighten. These features find a person, pet, object, face or text in the photo you are editing so the effect lands in the right place. They do not identify who anyone is, do not create face templates and send nothing off the device.
ShotCam reads the capture date stored in a photo to show the real date stamp. Saved and shared files are new images: they do not carry the original photo's location, camera model or other metadata.
Data on your device
To work, the app saves on your device: unfinished edits (drafts), stickers you cut out (My stickers), your My Signature settings (the name, text or logo image you choose to add to exports), favourite and recent looks, your language (English or Tiếng Việt) and other settings. This information stays on your device; Patcell cannot access it. Uninstalling the app removes it. Your device's own backup service may keep or restore app data according to your Apple backup settings.
Advertising and privacy choices
The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). A full-screen ad may appear after you save or share (never on your first save, and not every time), and you can choose to watch a rewarded ad to try a Pro item on the current photo. There are no banner ads, and ads never see your photos.
Where Google's consent service requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), a consent message appears before any ad is requested, and Settings shows Privacy choices so you can change your choice at any time. ShotCam also asks for Apple's permission to track (App Tracking Transparency). Ads are personalized only if you allow it; otherwise the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not shared and you see non-personalized ads. In either case Google's SDK may process network information such as IP address (and approximate location derived from it), app and device information, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic data to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. In-app purchases
ShotCam offers optional purchases: ShotCam Pro as a yearly subscription (with a free trial for new subscribers) or a monthly subscription, ShotCam Pro Lifetime (one-time), and Remove Ads (one-time, removes the full-screen ads). Prices are shown by the App Store in your currency. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings. Payments are processed by Apple; Patcell never receives your payment details. Purchases are verified on your device with Apple's StoreKit; no account and no other purchase service is used. To restore purchases, open Settings → Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account.
Children
ShotCam is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. It does not ask for age and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Future versions
If a later version changes how data is processed (for example a new online feature), we will update this page, the date above and the App Store privacy disclosures before that version is released.

Please do not send photos you want to keep private, passwords or payment details. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including contacting a data-protection authority.
Third parties and this website
Google provides AdMob and UMP under its own terms and privacy policy. Apple provides the App Store, StoreKit, the photo picker and Vision and processes payments under its own terms and privacy policy. When you visit this page, Patcell's website delivery and security provider, Cloudflare, processes request information such as IP address and browser information. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
