This policy explains the data practices of Sen Journey, the puzzle game developed by Patcell. During development, the game was referred to as Sen or RiverIQ. It covers the current offline game and enquiries about it. It does not describe other Patcell apps or games.
1. Data used by the game
Sen Journey stores the following in your browser or on your device:
- Level progress, saved puzzle positions and undo history.
- Completion records, achievements, unlocked hints and hint stars.
- Whether you have already seen introductions and stories.
- Your language, appearance and audio settings.
This information lets you continue playing, use hints and keep your preferences. Sen Journey does not send this local game data to Patcell or third parties. Patcell cannot read or restore your saved progress remotely, and Sen Journey does not provide cross-device sync.
Sen Journey does not ask for your name or email address to play. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts or location. Game sounds are generated for playback; the game does not record audio. Hint stars are in-game rewards, have no monetary value and cannot be purchased in this version.
2. Retention and deletion
Local game data remains until you delete it or your browser or device removes it.
- In Sen Journey, open Settings → Erase progress on this device and confirm. This removes saved games, records and unlocked hints and resets the hint-star balance to its starting amount. This action cannot be undone.
- The in-game erase option keeps your language, appearance and audio preferences. To remove all local data, use your browser's site-data controls or your device's app-data controls, as applicable.
There is no Sen Journey server account to delete. Device or operating-system backups, if enabled by you, are controlled by your device provider and backup settings.
3. When you contact us
If you email [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send, such as your name, message or screenshots. We use this information to answer your enquiry and resolve the issue. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
Email providers process messages to deliver and store this correspondence. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your enquiry, relevant follow-up and any applicable legal obligations. You can ask us to delete it using the same email address. Erasing progress inside Sen Journey does not erase emails you have sent to us.
4. Website links and other services
Sen Journey includes optional links to Patcell's website and this policy. Opening a link makes a web request. Our website uses Cloudflare for hosting and delivery; request information such as an IP address, requested URL and browser information is processed to deliver and protect the page. This is separate from local gameplay and does not upload your saved progress. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its handling of information.
If you play a browser-hosted copy of Sen Journey, loading its files also makes requests to that website's host. The local game data described above is not included in those requests by Sen Journey. App stores, browsers, device providers and external websites handle information under their own policies. This policy does not replace those policies.
5. Sharing and security
We do not sell your local game data or use it for targeted advertising. Sen Journey does not include advertising, analytics, tracking or automatic crash-reporting SDKs. Information you send to support is handled by the people and service providers needed to respond, or disclosed when required by law.
Local game data relies on your browser or device's storage protections. Keep your device secure, especially on a shared device. Our public policy page uses HTTPS. No storage or communication method can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Your choices and privacy requests
You can play without creating an account or contacting us, and you can delete local data as described above. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information you send to us, or to object to or restrict its use. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.
Send requests to [email protected] with “Sen Journey privacy request” in the subject. We may need enough information to verify that a request relates to you. We cannot retrieve local game data from your device.
7. Children
Sen Journey is a general-audience puzzle game. Its offline gameplay does not ask children or other players to submit personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us through support, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
8. Changes and contact
We will update this page and its effective date when our data practices change. If we add features such as accounts, cloud saves, advertising or analytics, we will update the policy and provide any required notices and choices before those features process data.
